Action: Help us collect warm stuff for Lebanon!

In the very short term, we will be loading containers for Lebanon again,

so that we can unload a large amount of heat in Beirut before the coming Christmas.

The need is really high for the almost 1 million people who are fleeing war violence in their own country. Many of them have left their homes in a hurry and therefore had little time to take enough warm clothes with them. So there is a great need for warm items.

What is the need?

    • Winter clothes, for children, women and men.
    • Hygiene products. Examples include: shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, basket pads and incontinence material (no liquid materials).
    • Blankets / duvets
    • Toys, such as footballs or drawing materials (no fragile items or war toys)
    • Especially for children, there is a flyer to fill a (shoe) 'box full of warmth' for a refugee child. DOWNLOAD FLYER

All materials and items must be clean, intact and dry or new.

Load

The goal is to load and ship the container at the end of November / first week of December, so that all items for this Christmas can be distributed by our volunteers on site. We will share the exact charging date at a later time. Extra hands during loading are always welcome. 

In addition to this container, we are going to load a second container, with only medical materials. These materials have already been collected by us in the past month and may be able to be loaded and shipped within 2 weeks.
