Working visit Lebanon

Due to the recently adjusted travel advice
and Transavia's decision 
to resume flights to Beirut, Bart will visit the three school projects Bauchrieh – Hadat and Batroun for 14 days to carry out preparatory work for the future work, in addition, three VVL board members, (Charles, Bert and Jeannet) will travel to Lebanon next Monday for a 7-day working visit.
Purpose of this trip
The visit has several purposes, including visiting all current and possible new projects, strengthening our contacts there and, where necessary, they will roll up their sleeves on the spot..
In addition, they will talk to local authorities about the possibility of shipping a sea container again in the short term. They will also investigate which relief goods are currently most needed, so what items we can collect in the near future once they are back in the Netherlands.
Finally, later in the week they will visit a number of beautiful places in the north of the country that we can add to our walking and culture trip. As soon as the travel advice allows you to organize a group trip to this area, we will of course also inform you about this in this way.
