Update of our school projects in Lebanon.
Wijk bij Duurstede, 18 September 2026
Despite the ongoing unrest in Lebanon, we are pleased to report that we are continuing to support our three school projects – SSCC Bauchrieh, SSCC Hadat and SSCC Batroun – remotely via the internet.
A significant quantity of hardware for the schools has been sent in the various containers we've dispatched. We would naturally prefer to conduct the installation ourselves on site, but unfortunately that is still not possible.
It is fortunate that, over the years, our IT specialist, Bart Timmermans, has developed the capability to log in remotely to various schools, enabling him to provide online support.
Bart is responsible for logging in to various schools on a weekly basis to resolve any faults, configure hardware and software, and provide support to on-site IT specialists when necessary.
In general, this means that the hardware we supply is installed on-site by the staff themselves, in consultation with us. It is then configured and implemented remotely by Bart, naturally in collaboration with the IT specialists at the various schools.
We have just updated the schools' aid project pages with details of the work carried out over the past year. Should you wish to read about the hardware we have sponsored for the schools, please click on the links below.
