The container with medical supplies,
which left for Beirut on 26 November arrived in Beirut harbour at the end of 2024/25.
We hope that it will clear customs soon, after which the cargo can be distributed among the various hospitals.
The container ship CMA CGM Barracuda docked in the port of Beirut.
The container with the donations from our winter action on 13 December is now on its way.
It has been in the Netherlands for a week, after which the ship left for Antwerp, where it stopped for several days, partly because of Christmas. The container ship is now in the port of La Havre (France). The next stop will be Malta, then two ports in Egypt, then on to Turkey and finally Beirut.
The normal route used by the huge ships is currently full and Piraeus port is too busy, so this is the route they are taking.
Assuming everything goes to plan, the container ship will leave for Malta tonight at 10pm.
It should arrive in Beirut somewhere around the middle of January.
The Container ship CMA CGM Tokyo in the port of Le Havre, waiting to depart for Malta.
