Start of the Blue Cord exercise at the Johannes Post Barracks

After being welcomed at the gate by the former BA Eric Jorissen, we parked at the cinema.

Preliminary work had been done so we could easily connect the computer with the documentary. After enjoying a cup of coffee in a beautifully foldable cup with JWF logo, the approximately 90 participants slowly poured in.
After an introduction by Bert, we were able to start the screening of the documentary "In the service of peace". The audience was captivated from start to finish and even afterwards did not know how to get away from the images and sometimes emotional stories shown.

Afterwards, Bert and Fred gave an additional explanation for fifteen minutes about the current situation in and around Lebanon, with emphasis on the events in Syria and possible effects on the situation in Lebanon.
Later in the week during the blue cord exercise, many more questions came up.
For us, the applause afterwards was a good indicator of the impression that the documentary had also made on this group of soldiers.
