Beirut, 27-03-2023 Our efforts are rewarded!
As the VVL Foundation, we have been able to make it possible for children to participate in various ICT classes.
We have succeeded by carrying out a number of projects at the Collège des Soeurs des Saint-Coeurs Bauchrieh.
The construction of a WiFi network within the entire school and the delivery of a large number of desktops and laptops (see photos) by us as a Foundation have made this possible.
To inspire students to learn and develop their creative mind, teamwork, autonomy and many other cognitive aspects, the Collège des Soeurs des Saints-Coeurs Bauchrieh is launching a technological pilot project in collaboration with J-Tech Academy.
J-Tech Academy gives students the opportunity to discover and develop their potential in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, graphic arts, and video game design.
The courses are aimed at:
- stimulate creativity and structure thinking;
- the ability to develop, create and program robots (from PS3 to EB5);
- train in video game design and programming (from EB6 to Te);
- lead to the realization of a group project.
- robotics courses for cycle 1. These courses are prepared in collaboration with the English company "Findel", specializing in educational robotics, as well as the English Ministry of Education;
In the meantime, the courses have started with 3 classrooms and a long waiting list of about 300 registrations.
Fantastic of course to see these photos and to be able and allowed to share them.
With many thanks to all donors, we wish the school and all students a lot of success and fun with this initiative.
