School furniture for Lebanon

One of our sponsors has offered us a large quantity of school furniture,

in the form of tables and chairs.
These will be temporarily stored at a removal company in Utrecht.
Our sincere thanks for this.

As we, the VVL Foundation, have no use for this school furniture at the moment, we are passing it on to Sumeya Hamie of our sister organisation Containers of Love.
This foundation will use most of the furniture to equip 8 schools in the Beeka Valley, ensuring better learning environments for students.
The rest will also find a worthy destination.

Recently, the first load was loaded into two large vans and taken to the warehouse in Roermond, where it will be further sorted and prepared for shipment to Lebanon in the coming months.
The rest of the tables and chairs will be collected next week.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the removal company for making their staff available to help with the loading.

The digital desks for the teachers, which were also donated, will be used by the VVL Foundation for our school projects.
These are also collected and stored in our warehouse in Deventer.
