Call: Looking for photos of your UNIFIL post! 📸
Wijk bij Duurstede, 7 November 2026
Dear veterans,
The recent devastation in southern Lebanon makes it more important than ever to cherish our past.
On our website we show the places of our veteran trips, but we would like to supplement these albums with images from our military service.
Do you still have photos of your old post? Help us preserve the image of that time!
What are we looking for?
- Photos of your post (preferably without recognizable people, unless you don't object).
- Information: Which item was it, and (if known) the month and year?
- Veteran trips: Photos taken during the trips (both already shared and new photos) are also more than welcome.
What happens to it?
We edit the photos in a fixed layout (with the info) and place them under the correct 'Pin' in the digital album.
Send your photos to:
Other good ideas are always welcome!
With veteran greetings,
Siem Kersten
