Christmas is a time for sharing, so please help us bring hope to Lebanon!🎄
Schalkhaar, 22 december 2025
At the Veterans for Lebanon Foundation, it's not about numbers or projects,
It's about people. It's about elderly people trying to maintain their dignity while searching for safe living conditions and basic necessities; it's about mentally vulnerable people gathering their courage every day to stay positive; and it's about children who, despite everything, continue to dream of a better future.
We have been supporting these people for over five years, In a country burdened by a deep economic crisis and ongoing war, basic services have become unattainable for many.
Our help is sometimes literally a matter of life and death, but the message we bring is just as important:
You are not alone.
We take what we saw with us.
During our working visit to Lebanon from 17 to 23 November, we visited all our projects. We spoke with healthcare providers, teachers, and children.
We listened to their stories and saw for ourselves what is lacking, but also the tremendous resilience present.
Those encounters will stay with us. They are the reason why, however challenging it may be, we are working towards shipping our 43rd sea container,
scheduled for mid-February/March 2026.
What is needed now?
Based on what we saw on site, we are looking for the following materials, among others:

You can mean more than you think
Perhaps you don't have any of these items yourself. But maybe you do know someone who does. Maybe it's a company, a school, a care institution or an organisation that has surplus items and wants to help.
Especially in the run-up to Christmas, we would like to ask you:
Think of those who have lost everything. Ask around. Share our story.
This Christmas, you won't just be giving something;
You will also be giving hope to people who desperately need it. ❤️
Of course, financial donation are always welcome, Alternatively, you can donate to NL71 ABNA 0118 7463 91 payable to VVL Veterans Lebanon
Together, we are filling a container,
but also providing hope, warmth and a future.
