Interview with 1Twente for Enschede Veterans Day

On Wednesday, June 18, I received an email from the Veterans Committee in Enschede,

asking if I would be available for an interview with 1Twente. This was in the lead-up to Veterans Day, which took place on June 21 in Enschede. During this Veterans Day, the documentary In Service of Peace was shown.
For me, this was a great opportunity to share my personal story and to raise awareness for the Veterans for Lebanon Foundation, co-organizer of the documentary. The interview was a very pleasant experience. I felt comfortable right away, and the interviewer listened with genuine interest. The questions were thoughtful and engaging, which made it an open and meaningful conversation.I hope this interview not only gave people a glimpse into my experiences as a veteran, but also helped to highlight the important work our foundation is doing.
