Offering help to those in need

Beirut, February 18, 2025

Helping those in need is one of our objectives.

The story of the homeless man Johnny is a very touching one. By chance, we meet him in the city of Beirut at a landmark near the port.
When Johnny tells us his story, it is about a small two-room apartment in which he used to live together with his only brother. But when his brother got married and had children, there was no room for him and he ended up on the street.
He does not have any real work. He has had some, with different bosses, but it never lasts long because he regularly blacks out. This is due to an electrical short circuit in his head, as he describes it.
We think he means epileptic seizures, but we are not sure. Clearly, he is homeless and barely able to support himself. Occasionally he helps unload fishing boats in the harbour, but even that work is hard to come by in winter.
We agree to return later that day with a bag of clothes, socks, trousers and a jacket.
We also have a shelter suit so he can have a warm night's sleep. We also offer him food. He accepts everything with a humble smile. In the hope of being able to do more for him, we agree to visit him every few weeks.

Thank you Sheltersuit Foundation  for your support!

We help needy elderly people; try to provide orphanage children with things. Many items were taken to psychiatric care centres.
To give computer lessons to as many children as possible, we provide full ICT courses in schools.
All this thanks to you! Help is needed every day, and we try to give the maximum to those who need it most.
